LAST YEAR, OUR PROJECT RISE AMERICORPS MEMBERS PROVIDED 32,882 hours OF SERVICE AT NEW AMERICAN PATHWAYS.

AmeriCorps Project RISE (Refugee and Immigrant Success through Education) is a service opportunity that focuses on educational services to address the significant literacy gap in the refugee community, among both youth and their parents. AmeriCorps members are part of a team of 14 enrolled for a year of service to our nation. In the process of improving the lives of others, AmeriCorps members are challenged to use their unique talents and skills for the betterment of the refugee community. AmeriCorps service exposes members to new experiences, people of diverse backgrounds, and knowledge about their communities.

AmeriCorps members apply for a particular area of service that spans across the programs at New AP, but all members work in our Bright Futures Afterschool program. Project RISE members participate in service projects and enrichment activities together throughout the year. To learn more about the AmeriCorps program, go here.

New American Pathways recruits for AmeriCorps every spring and summer. To learn more about current openings, check out our employment listings.
