We’ve Merged!

It’s official: On Oct. 1, 2014, Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services of Atlanta (RRISA) and Refugee Family Services (RFS) merged to create New American Pathways, the only nonprofit organization in Georgia providing a full continuum of support and holistic services for refugees.

With a staff of more than 60 professionals and an AmeriCorps team of 15 members, we can serve 3,500 refugees and other immigrants each year, helping them realize their full potential and dreams as they build new lives in Georgia. We help refugees from the moment of their arrival through their journey to citizenship with proven pathways to self-sufficiency and success. Throughout the process, we keep a strong focus on jobs, education, cultural integration, individual and female empowerment and building strong families.

As Georgia currently welcomes nearly 2,500 refugees annually from countries around the world, we at New American Pathways are eager to harness the power of our combined Board of Directors and our family of highly experienced staff to equip refugees with the skills they need to live productive, successful and prosperous lives as new Americans.

If our Staff Retreat was any indicator, we can look forward to a future filled with promise!
