Our Heartfelt Goodbye to Emily Pelton

At the end of 2014, we sadly say goodbye to our wonderful chief advancement officer, Emily Pelton. While we are very sad to see her leave, she will always be a part of the New American Pathways family.

We thank Emily for her vision and her leadership throughout the merger of RFS and RRISA, and we wish her the best of everything in her next venture.

About Emily

Emily is a seasoned non-profit strategist who brings public policy, advocacy, and fundraising expertise to New American Pathways. Before the merger of RRISA and RFS, Emily served as RFS’s Executive Director for four years. Prior to joining RFS, she served as the Vice President for Development and Strategic Integration at Hands On Network, where she oversaw the fundraising team and ensured effective strategy development across departments. Emily worked for the humanitarian organization CARE for six years, where she worked closely with the CEO and held the positions of Director of Foundation Fundraising and Director of Policy Analysis. Emily served in the Clinton Administration in the Office of Management and Budget and in the Office of Science and Technology Policy. Emily received her B.A. in Physics and Soviet Studies from Cornell University and her M.P.A degree with an international affairs concentration from Princeton University.
