$11,495 – and It’s All Thanks to You

This past Thursday was Georgia Gives Day – a statewide day that focuses on all the incredible work done by non-profits in Georgia and encourages supporters to donate to their favorite cause.  This year, we dedicated our Georgia Gives Day donations to our incredible Youth Services.

For those of you who made us YOUR cause for the day, Thank You!

You helped us raise $11,495 – both off and online – most of it in just one day!

Our donors included current and former board members, former interns, long-time community partners and brand-new supporters.  Gifts ranged from $10 to a whopping $5,000 from the Edward Colston Foundation.

The best part is that, thanks to the matching donations from The Zeist Foundation, all of these funds will be matched, bringing our actual grand total to: $22,990! This funding will make a huge impact for the 150 refugee youth in our elementary and middle school afterschool programs.

If you want to help continue to be a Champion for Refugee Youth, think about becoming a Secret Santa this holiday season! Secret Santas shop for or donate gifts for youth in one of our many programs. It’s a fun and neighborly way to say “welcome” to a child in the metro Atlanta community this holiday season.

If you’re interested in being a Secret Santa, contact Paige Castle – (404) 299-6099 ext. 260 or communityoutreach@newamericanpathways.org for more details or to sign up!

Again, thank you for your support of our work – we couldn’t do this without you!
